The Langwarrin Football club is recognized as one of the biggest football clubs in Australia, with more than 450 registered players in 2008.
It offers the chance for local spectators, teenage boys and men, to bond together and continue to play and support the local Aussie sport they love. Being apart of the club is not just about playing and winning a game of football, but offers the players an opportunity to bond, and to form life long frienships.
The Langwarrin Football Club has encouraged and provided bright futures for our young generations. The social interaction of a club allows the boys to feel as they belong, teaching them discipline and responsibility for later in life.
Aim
The aim of this project is to evaluate and re design Langwarrin Football Clubs website. Currently the website lacks the representation of football and sophistication, one word to explain it is messy.
First glance at the website I have no idea where to focus. The website is:
- Sloppy
- Off centre
- Over use of colour
- Has too much advertising
- Out of proportion etc
The idea of this project is to fix and relay the Langwarrin football clubs website, as a result produce a professional, user friendly website for the local spectators and players, of all ages can use.
An effective example of the clean cut future website of Langwarrin FC, is the Official website of the Geelong Football club http://www.gfc.com.au/Default.aspx. It uses simple colour and images, that clearly identify what the website is about and it’s intention.
Overall the website is to draw attention of not only future players and their parents but draw a large group of supporters and members to maintain the clubs large status.
